The Federation Skating Club requires each family per season to do one of the following:
DONATION: If the Volunteering activities conflict with your schedule, feel free to add $100.00 (Non-Refundable) to your registration fees.
OR
VOLUNTEERING CHEQUE: ONE MANDATORY volunteering activity per season. A $100.00 cheque deposit POST DATED MARCH 1, 2012 is required at the time of registration, which will be returned once the volunteering activity has been completed. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING CHEQUE: One mandatory AGM & BBQ (Spring 2012) $25.00 cheque Post-dated March 1, 2012 per family per season presented at the time of registration and will be held until a family member over the age of 18 years has attended the AGM. If NO attendance, your cheque will be CASHED!
The Federation Skating Club does NOT accept cheques from Community League Bingos. If your registration is non-legible or we don’t receive your 2 Post-dated cheques your registration is deemed INCOMPLETE!
REFUND: Fees are not refundable after the 1st lesson, except at the discretion of Federation Skating Club. The Skate Canada membership fee of $30.00 is not refundable. If you wish to cancel your registration, we need written confirmation by email dated before your 2nd lesson.
MAKE UP LESSONS: If you missed a lesson there you CAN NOT make up that lesson another day!
HELMET POLICY
Skate Canada has implemented a new policy for helmet use. Skaters are required to wear a hockey or skating helmet no matter their age as long as they have not passed stage 5 of the Canskate program. No bike helmets are allowed!! Click here to find out more information (SKATE CANADA HELMET POLICY)

STUDENT DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES
In June of 1996, the Club Executive passed a motion adopting the following three strikes, you're out as the Student Disciplinary Procedure for on-ice/off-ice activities.
Student Disciplinary Procedure
First Infraction
A verbal warning from the Coach/Club and a notice to the Club advising the Executive of the action.Second Infraction
A written letter from the Coach/Club outlining the discipline and a notice to parent(s) or guardian(s) of the disciplined skater that they must be in the stands at the arena thereafter for the skater to be allowed back on the ice.Third Infraction
A written letter from the Coach/Club to the skater and parent(s) or guardian(s) advising them of the discipline and the expulsion of the skater from the program. Inappropriate behaviour such as, but not limited to, kicking, biting, hitting, inappropriate language, swearing, disruptive actions, misuse of equipment (as weapons or otherwise) etc. by a student to another student or to the coaching staff of the Club will not be tolerated.
